A Special Message About COVID-19 From your neighborhood electricians at Wooding Electric to our customers and friends

Dear Friends:

The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has left a lot of people in our community worried about their health and the wellbeing of their families. Your neighborhood electricians at Wooding Electric work every day to help keep homes safe, and we share your concerns about the novel coronavirus. Because our work takes us to so many homes and business locations in the South Bay Area, we have a special responsibility to keep you informed about our safety practices.

We want to take this opportunity to update you about the measures we’re taking to protect our customers and friends during this challenging time:

  1. As an essential service provider, we intend to stay open and in full operation during the period of social distancing we’re all going through right now. Wooding Electric team members will continue to make house calls to repair and maintain electrical systems as always. This is true even in the counties currently under shelter-in-place orders.
  2. All of our staff members have been briefed about the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, and everybody who works with us is under strict instructions to stay at home at the first sign of respiratory illness or fever.
  3. We are now checking every field worker at the beginning of their shift to make sure nobody has a fever. If the employee’s temperature is even a little higher than normal, we will ask them to go home and contact their doctor immediately.
  4. Everybody at the company has been trained on proper handwashing techniques, how to properly cough (into the elbow, not the hands), and how to sanitize surfaces to make sure viruses can’t survive on equipment or vehicles. We have also stocked every company vehicle with soap and hand sanitizer for use between assignments.
  5. All electricians are expected to thoroughly wash their hands before and after visiting a home. Your electrician will be wearing a fresh pair of disposable gloves and shoe coverings during the entire visit.
  6. We’ve checked, and nobody who works for our company has recently traveled to a virus hotspot or knowingly had contact with an infected person. We ask that anyone on the team who may have been exposed — however slim the odds that they’re sick — stay home and self-quarantine.
  7. For the time being, we have to respectfully decline appointments to homes under quarantine. We are also not able to send teams out to locations that are likely to harbor the virus, such as public gatherings.

Like all of you, we at Wooding Electric are paying attention to the advice and warnings of health authorities. We will continue to follow their recommendations about containing the COVID-19 virus as closely as possible. Your health and safety are our first priority, and we will do nothing that puts you or your family at risk. If you have any questions you’d like to ask us about our heightened safety measures, please don’t hesitate to call us toll-free at 1-888-WOODING.

The team at Wooding Electric wishes you and your loved ones the very best of health. We’ll get through this all together. Ask about Tesla electrical services.
