Apprentice Electrician

Current CA State certification required

-Ability to pass a drug test and background check and clean driving record

What You will be responsible for:

  • Providing a memorable experience for each customer
  • Working alongside a Journeyman Electrician to service customer needs quickly and efficiently
  • Diagnosing and repairing residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) State of California and Local Municipal Building codes
  • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  • Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
  • Performing physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
  • Staying on track to becoming a State Certified Electrician
  • Learning the Wooding Electric system and cooperating with all training opportunities to grow in your trade

Qualifications:

  • Good driving record of at least 36 months and current valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Being genuine and personable is a must!
  • As an Apprentice Electrician you will need to be intuitive, hardworking, fast, efficient, no problem wearing a uniform, clean-cut, and willing to learn our system with a “what next” attitude!

Journeyman Electrician

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, frequency meters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Willing to learn and use our system

Qualifications:

  • Current Journeyman / Wireman certification required
  • 2 year minimum of Residential and Commercial service work experience
  • Good driving record and current valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Customer Service Representative

IN-OFFICE POSITION, NOT REMOTE.
